TATTOO AFTERCARE

KEEP IT CLEAN,
KEEP IT CREAMED.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. / REMOVING THE WRAP

Remove the protective wrap or bandage 1 to 2 hours after your tattoo is finished. It’s best to head straight home after your appointment. The wrap is only meant to protect the tattoo on your journey home.

2. / CLEANING YOUR TATTOO

Once the wrap is off, wash your hands thoroughly and gently clean the tattoo using ‘Liquid Gold Concentrate’ soap and warm water. Showering is perfectly fine—just replace your usual body wash with ‘Liquid Gold’ for the tattooed area.

If you’ve had a larger piece done, it's recommended to wash it three times a day—once in the morning once during or after work/before dinner and again before bed.

3. / DRYING YOUR TATTOO

Pat the area dry using a clean towel or paper towel. Then allow the tattoo to air dry for 1 to 2 hours.

4. / APPLYING AFTERCARE CREAM

Use a thin layer of Bepanthen antiseptic cream several times daily—at least 3 to 6 times a day. A small amount is enough; applying thin layers more often is better than applying a thick one. The tattoo needs to breathe to heal properly.

5. / ONGOING CARE

After the initial few days of cleaning three times daily, continue washing your tattoo once a day and keep applying a thin layer of bepanthen as needed to maintain moisture. Do this consistently for two weeks.

6. / WHAT TO AVOID

While your tattoo heals:

  • Do not pick or scratch it

  • Do not let others touch it

  • Avoid direct sunlight

  • Skip baths, swimming, and saunas

  • Do not soak the area

7. / MOISTURISING LONG-TERM

After your tattoo heals, continue to moisturise after each shower to maintain vibrancy. We recommend using natural, organic moisturisers that nourish the skin.

In short:
KEEP IT CLEAN. KEEP IT CREAMED.
A healing tattoo is an open wound, so everything that touches it must be clean. Stay away from pets and avoid re-wrapping it. If you’re worried about anything touching the tattoo, wear clean, loose-fitting clothing over it.
